Ready To Renovate?
Some helpful tips for when you are ready to renovate.
I want a new kitchen, but where should I begin?
The first thing to do is to make a list of the things that you like and don’t like about your kitchen. You can browse through our kitchen projects or elsewhere online to find photos of kitchens that appeal to you and start a collection. (Pinterest is a great place for this).
Then contact us at Cabinets Plus. Mike (the owner) will work directly with you from design through to installation to ensure everything goes smooth. He will help you choose wood type, the right doors and finishes, and ensure that everything will fit into place.
If a new kitchen is not what you are looking for, but you need some custom cabinetry built, we can help with that too!
I have a budget, how do I stay within it?
You can help control costs by knowing what you want. Choose the things that you know you are going to like for a long time. Try to incorporate styles and colours that are going to match the style of your home and add value to your home.
Choices based on time-honored design elements rather than today’s latest hot trend will also help to control cost. The hot new trendy styles tend to cost more upfront and retain less value when that trend diminishes for the next new one. Keeping the resale value of your home in mind when choosing your design.
I have a small kitchen, how can I maximize storage space?
Mike will work with you to ensure the design of your new kitchen is customized for your space. He will help you plan the maximum use of your space and design cabinets specifically for your storage requirements.
Mike designs kitchens with your needs in mind. He considers ergonomics, height, reach, age and whether the kitchen is designed as a work space for one person or utilized for a family work space. Mike will ensure that your new kitchen is both beautiful and functional.
